Members met at the RSL Clubrooms on Monday, 5 October when 11 were present. The usual monthly business was dealt with and president Gloria Halsall thanked members for their help on the successful street stall.

International Officer Heather Hunt read out an interesting article on the history of Timor, the group's current country of study.

There will not be a Craft Day this month, but in November (date to be decided on) to finish Christmas decorations for the fire survivors from the Black Saturday areas in our Group.

Members are compiling a Club entry for the Euroa Show and will also be supporting other sections.

The Annual Meeting will be on Thursday, 29 October at 1:30 pm not the usual day, as this is to fit in with Group President's commitments. Some of our ladies who help with our Cancer Cap projects and Community Aid involvement will be invited to join in for afternoon tea.

As an extra at the meeting, members Gloria and Heather told us of their recent holiday, travelling through parts of Northern Australia and then down through the lower part of Western Australia - a most interesting trip.

Competition winners were: Pin cushion - G Halsall, N Johnston, B Parow and Bloom - D McGonnell, B Miller, B Lewin.
